ORDINANCE NO. 973
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 18.202 PROVIDING FOR ONE
WAY STREETS AND AMENDING CHAPTER 18. ARTICLE III OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT.
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect. Cook County. Illinois:
Section 1. That Section 18.202. providing for one way streets.
of the Municipal Code of the VUlage of Mount Prospect be and is hereby
amended by adding the following:
"(7) Highland Avenue east one way bound between
Elm Street and Rand Road."
Section 2. That Chapter 18. Article III of the Municipal Code of
the Village of Mount Prospect be amended by adding thereto the following:
"Section 18.337. RIGHT TURN ONLY. It shall be
unlawful for the operator of any motor vehicle
to proceed other than by a right turn at the
following intersections:
(1) Running east on Highland Avenue at
the intersection of Highland Avenue
and Rand Road."
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage. approval and publication according to law.
PASSED and APPROVED this 24th day of March. 1964.
