HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 977 04/21/1964 qll ORDINANCE NO. 9 7f AN ORDINANCE ANNEXnrG .1?Cl:I99b_oPROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF l{OUNT PROSPECT WHEREAS, the Board of Education of Community Consolidated School District No. 59, Cook County, Illinois, did, in accordance with Section 7-1-14, Chapter 24 of the Illinois Revised statutes, adopt a Resolution recommending the annexation of real estate hereinafter described to the village of Hount Prospect, which Resolution did contain all requisite requirements so as to comply with the statutes made and provided, and hTI-ffi.1.E.i\.S, a copy of said Hesolution was duly delivered to the Village Clerk of the villa.ge of I>10unt Prospect, and vlHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the village of Mount Prospect, County of Cook, Illinois, do believe it to be to the best interests of the village that the properties hereinafter described be in fact annexed to the village of Mount Prospect, Illinois. NO'VtJ, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the village of Mount Prospect, County of Cook, Illinois: Section 1. That the territory and lands hereinafter described: Parcel No.1: That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast (~uarter of Section 14, Township 41 North, ..Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said South- east Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence North along the l'lest line of said Southeast quarter of the Southeast Quarter 385.20 feet; thence East 562.28 feet to a point 385.38 feet North of the South line of said Section 14; thence South 385.38 feet to a point in the South line of said Section 14, which is 562.0 feet East of the Southwest corner of said Southeast quarter of the South- east Quarter; thence West along the South line of said Section 14, to the place of beginning, excepting there- from the following described property, to-wit: That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal lI-feridian, described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence North along the West line of said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter 385.20 feet; thence East 281.14 feet to a point which is 385.29 feet North of the South line of said Section 14; thence South 385.29 feet to a point in the South line of said Section 14 which is 281.0 feet East of the Southwest corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence West along the South lirle of said Section 14 to the place of beginning, in Cook County, Illinois. Parcel No.2: That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said South- east Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence North along the West line of said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, 385.20 feet; thence East 281.14 feet, to a point which is 385.29 feet North of the South line of said Section 14; thence South 385.29 feet to a point on South line of said Section 14 which is 281.0 feet East of the Southwest corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence West along the South line of said Section 14, to the place of beginning, in Cook County, Illinois. Parcel No.3: That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 14; thence Ttlest 20 chains; thence South 14.35 chains; thence East 8.50 chains; thence North 2.35 chains; thence East ll.50 chains; thence Nor~h 12 chains to the place of beginning (except from said premises that part thereof which lies East of a line 562.0 feet East of and parallel with the West line of the Southeast Quarter of the South- east Quarter of said Section 14, also except from said premises that part thereof which lies within the following described tract of land: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 14; thence East along the North Line of said South- east Quarter of the Southeast Quarter to the Northeast corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence South along the East line of said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter, 210.03 feet; thence West along a line 210.0 feet South of (measured at right angles to) and parallel with the North line of said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter for a distance of 702.09 feet; thence Southwesterly for a distance of 630.50 feet more or less to a point on the 'l^lest line of said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter which point is 313.80 feet South of the point of beginning; thence North along the West line of said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast 0uarter 313.50 feet to the place of beginning); in Cook County, Illinois. Parcel No.4: That part of the North 25.5 Acres of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying South of a line described as beginning at a point in the East line of said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter which is 313.80 feet South of the North- east corner thereof, and running thence Southwesterly 1344.19 feet to a point on the West line of said South- west Quarter of the Southeast Quarter which is 796.92 feet North of the South line of said Section 14 (measured along said West line of said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter); in Cook County, Illinois, being contiguous to the village of Hount Prospect, being without the corp- orate limits of any other municipality and having no one residing thereon and which has been duly petitioned for via Resolution adopted by Community Consolidated School District No. 59, Cook County, Illinois, mentioned above, which School District is the beneficial owner of said property, be and is here~ annexed and made a part of the village of Mount Prospect. Section 2. That the boundary lines of the village of }jount Prospect be hereby enlarged and extended so as to include within its corp- orate limits and boundaries the above described real estate. Section 3. That the Village Clerk is directed to file a certi- fied copy of this ordinance together with an accurate map of the above territory with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
