NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAThTED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois: Sect.~on.~ That there is hereby established a Plumbing Code for the Villa[Te of Mount Prospect, here inafter referred to as "The Mount Prospect Plumbing Code", which reads as follows: ARTICLE I DEFINITIONS (.2'ollow Evanston Plumbing Code) ARTICLE 19 REPEAL OF INCONSISTENT ORDINANCES. All ordinances, or parts thereof, including provisions in the Mount Prospect Building Code and the Municipal Code of the Village of Mount Prospect, which are in conflict herewith are, to t he extent of such conf1 let, repealed. ,.. ARTICLE 20. PE1'JALTY FOR VIOLATIONS. l. Any person who shall violate any provlslon of this cole or fails to comply with any of the requirements thereof, or who shall erect, construct, alter or repair a building or structure in violation thereof, shall be guilty of misde..meanor punishable by a fine of not less than $25.00 and not more than $200.00, and each day such violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. 2. The imposition of the penalties herein prescribed shall not preclude the Village Attorney from instituting an appro,riate action or proceeding to prevent an unlawful erection, con- struction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, conversion, maintenance or use or to restrain, correct or abate a violation, or to prevent the occupancy of a building, structure or premises, or to prevent an illegal act, conduct, business or lJSe in or about any premises. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. Section 4.
