AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE OLD ORCHfuC"{D COUNTRY
CLUB TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the
Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect by the Chicago
Title and Trust Company, as Trustee under Trust No. 37533, the
sole record owner of the land and territory described in
Exhibit "1" attached hereto, for annexation to the Village of
Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, Frank M. Aldridge and Valerye J. Aldridge, the
sole electors residing on the land and territory described in
Exhib it "1" attached hereto, have joined in said petition; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of
Mount Prospect and eligible for annexation; and
WHEREAS, the Chicago Title and Trust Company, as Trustee
under Trust No. 37533, and the Village of Mount Prespect have
entered into a valid and binding Pre-Annexation Agreement; and
WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects
complies with the requirements of the Statutes of the State of
Illinois; and
WHEREAS, all necessary requirements have been complied with
in reference to the Pre-Annexation Agreement aforementioned.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illino i8:
Section 1. That all land and territory described in
Exhibit ''In attached hereto and made a part hereof, which terri-
tory is contiguous to the Village of MOunt Prospect, is not
within the limits of any municipality, contains two electors
who have joined in the petition and which is not presently in
any incorporated municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed
to the Village of Mount Prospect so that the land and territory
described in Exhibit "1" attached shall be included within the
boundary lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such
cases made and prOVided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount
Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this
ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory with
the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
