AN ORDINANCE A!1ElmD{G THE VILLfiGE OF 110UNT PROSPECT I S ZmrrNG ORDINANCE RELATING TO PROPERTY COH!-10HLY KNOHN AS THE OLD ORCEARD GOLF COURSE, r;XCJ:PT THE NORTHEAST COPJ7ER TIlEREOF. \VHEREAS, the Board of Appeals of tha Village of L'10unt Prospect, sitting as a Zoning Commission at a public rnaeting duly called and held according to lall, considered the qu~stion of reclassifying the real estate hereinafter described from the R-l Single Family District to the PLI1A", PL"3I1, and PU'C" Sub Districts in the Planned Recreational Open Space District in accordance Hith Exhibit 111\" attached; and liHEREAS, tho:; Prasid""nt ;J.ud Board of Trustees of the Village of Hount Prospect, have considered the recommendation of the Zoning Board of Appeals and the r8coillmendation of Tee-Search, Inc., planning and zoning consultants, and find and believe that th.~ higl1est and best use of said real estate is for a planned recreational open space development, developed under Ordinance [:0. 992 and in accordance: ,.vith the Land Use and Zoning Plat of the developers "hich has been approved by the Village and is attached hereto as Exhibit liB". NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of clount Pros~ect, County of Cook, Illinois: Section 1. That an ordinance enti t13d "Zoning Ordinance of dount Prospect", passed and approved April 2, 1963, and known as Ordinance No. 898, and as amended by Ordinance i{o. 992 and as subsequently amended to date hereof, be and is further amended by reclassifying the l'8al estate described in Exhibit I1AI1 from R-l Single Family Resid"mce District to the PLI1AI1, PLI1BH and PL"C" Sub Districts in the PlanneJ Recreational Open SpacG District. Section 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall be subject to all the limitations and conditions placed upon propE:rty in the Planned Recreational Op<:;n Space District by virtue of Ordinance Ho. 992 and all other pertinent zoning ordinances in the Village of Hount Prospect as \vl;ll as the Land Use and Zoning Plat ralating to this property, 3. copy of lvhich is marked Exhibit "B" and attached hereto, Section 3. That any person, fi~n or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to co~ply with or Hho resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordiuance shall be fined not less than ten ($10.00) Dollars nor more than One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars for each offense, and each day that a violation is permitted to exist sJnll constitute a separate offense. The following property to be rezoned from R-l Single Family Residential to PL "B": The NOl'thl-lest quarter of Section 27, Twp. 42 N, R-ll E 3rd P. M. (except the South 650 feet thereof) and except that part of the West 1000 feet lying South of the fOllowing described line: Commencing at a point on the West line of said Section 27 which is ll02.65 feet South of the Northwest corner thereof; thence South 770 3D' 30" (recorded 770 55' 45") a distance of 409.70 feet; thence due East a distance of 600 feet) and (except that part described as follows: Commencing at a point on the West line of said Section 27 that is 859.l5 feet South of the Northwest corner thereof; thence South 830 34' 30" East a distance of 246.l4 feet; thence South lOo DO' 25" East a distance of 285.45 feet; thence North 770 30' 30" Hest (recorded 770 55' 45") a distance of 301.34 feet to a point on the West line of said Section 27; thence North along said West line a distance of 243.50 to the point of beginning) and (except the East 255 feet of the North 337 feet thereof) together with the North ll02.65 feet of the East 500 feet of the East half of the Northeast quarter of Sec. 28, Twp. 42 N, R-ll East of the 3rd P.M. in Cook County, Illinois, containing 110.2632 acres. The following property to be rezoned from R-l Single Family Residential to PL "C": That part of the East half of the Northeast quarter of Sec. 28, Twp. 42 N, R-ll East of the 3rd P.M. lying North of the North line of Rand Road (except the North 1102.65 feet of the East 500 feet thereof), together with that part of the West lOOO feet of the Northwest quarter of Sec. 27, Twp. 42 N, R-ll East of the 3rd P.M. lying South of the following described line: Commencing at a point on the West line of said Section 27 which is ll02.65 feet South of the Northwest corner thereof; thence South 770 30' 30" (recorded 770 55' 45" a distance of 409.7 feet; thence due East a distance of 600 feet, (except the South 350 feet of the East 750 feet thereof) and except that part lying South- westerly of the centerline Rand Road) in Cook County, Illinois, containinf. 58.6004 acres. Exhibit D Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, according to law.
