ORDINANCE No. 1015
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 ARTICLE V OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
RELATING TO RESTRICTIONS ON PARKING ALONG NORTHWEST
HIGHWAY AND MAIN STREET.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Vil1aRe of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That Article V of Chapter 18 of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Mount Prospect is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following:

"Section 18,517. Prior to October 1, 1966 it shall be
unlawful to permit any vehicle to stand along Northwest Highway
between Wille Street and Maple Street and along Main Street bet-
ween Northwest Highway and Busse Ave. between the hours of 4 P.M.
and 7 P.M. Parallel parking only shall be permitted upon the
aforementioned streets between the hours of 7 P.M. and 4 P.M,"
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication accordinp
to law and shall remain in effect until October 1, 1966 at which
ti~e it shall be of no further force and effect.
PASSED this 12 day of January, 1965.
