ORDINANCE No. 1016
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING SANITARY SEWAGE OR
INDUSTRIAL WASTE FROM BEING DISCHARGED INTO
SEWERS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That Section 22.209 of the Municipal Code of
the Village of Mount Prospect be and is hereby renumbered so that
hereafter it shall be designated as Section 22.210.
Section 2. That there is hereby added to the Municipal
Code of the Village of Mount Prospect, a new Section 22.209 to
read as follows:
"No person, firm or corporation shall cause sanitary
sewage or industrial waste to be discharged into any
sewer constructed as part of an improvement authorized
by Resolution No. 1-65, passed and approved by the Pres-
ident and Board of Trustees on the 12 day of January,
1965, which improvement is designated by the Department
of Public Works and Buildings, State of Illinois, as
S. B. 1. Route 19 - FoA. Route 20 Section 1964-15-RS."
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and publication according to law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 12 day of January, 1965.
