HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 1020 02/02/1965 ORDINANCE No. 1020 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT'S ZONING ORDINANCE BY GRANTING A VARIATION TO ALLOW A BUSINESS OFFICE BUILD- ING AT 211-217 WEST PROSPECT AVENUE WHEREAS, the Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect, conducted a public meeting called and held according to law (Appeal No. 64-39), to consider the question of granting a variation of the property hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, said real estate is zoned R-3 by the Mount Prospect Zoning Ordinance, which classification would prevent the proposed use to be made of the property; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have considered the recommendation of the Zoning Board of Appeals, believe it to be to the best interest of the Village that the variation be granted to allow a business office building. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois: Section 1. That an ordinance entitled "Zoning Ordinance of Mount Prospect" passed and approved April 2, 1963, and known as Ordinance No. 898, as amended to date hereof't\ be varied so as to permit the construction of a business office building on property legally described as follows: Lots 46,47, 48 and 49 in H. Roy Berry Co.'s Colonial Manor, a subdivision of part of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 11 and part of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2.That said real eatate shall be subject to all other limitations and conditions placed upon the property by the Zoning ordinances of the Village of Mount Prospect. Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not more than One Hundred ($100.00) Dol- lars for each offense, and each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, according to law. I II I PASSED and APPROVED this 2 day of February, 1965.
