''I \, WHEREAS, property legally described as follows: That part of Lot 2 in Edward Busse's Division of part of the South- east 1/4 of Section 15 and the Northeast 1/4 of Section 22, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Brincipal Meridian as recorded December 17, 1919 as Document No. 6696216 in Cook County, Illinois described as follows: Beginning at a point being the intersection of the center line of Algonquin Road with the East line of said Lot 2; thence Northwesterly along the center line of Algonquin Road to its intersection with a line 210 feet East of (as measured at right angles to) the West line of the East 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section 15; thence North along a line 210 feet East of and parallel with the West line of the East 1/2 of said Southeast 1/4 a distance of 103.05 feet to an angle point; thence Northeasterly along a diap,onal line drawn from said angle point to a point in the East line of said Lot 2 which is 326.25 feet North of the South line of said Section 15 ~as mea- sured along the East line of said Lot 2 a distance of 333.85 feet to a point; thence Southeasterly along a line drawn at right angles to said diagonal line a distance of 219.82 feet to the intersection of said line with the South line of said Southeast 1/4; thence East along said South line a distance of 404.59 feet to a point which is 181.0 feet West of the East line of said Lot 2; thence North along a line drawn at right angles to said South line a distance of 294.0 feet to the intersection of said line with the aforesaid diagonal line (said intersection being 186.85 southwesterly of the East line of said Lot 2 as measured along said diagonal line); thence North~ easterly along said diagonal line a distance of 186.85 feet to the East line of said Lot 2; thence South along the East line of said Lot 2 to the place of beginning, in Cook County, Illinois, is within the unincorporated territory of Cook County, and not within any municipality and is less than sixty (60) acres in area; and L0 CO -" c..J::'l o ..+> - c..O I I II I, II II II I i I I I WHEREAS, said land and territory is both contiguous and wholly bounded by the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, the Statutes of the State of Illinois, and part- icularly Section 7-1-13 of Chapter 24 thereof (Illinois Revised Statutes 1963) provides for the annexation of said territory upon the passage of an ordinance by the Village; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, County of Cook, Illinois; I I I " r , I Section 1. I _I /~ ;;1 II Which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect and is wholly bounded by the Village of Mount Prospect and is not presently in any incorporated municipality but is in the unincorpor.ated territory of Cook County and wbereas said territory is less than sixty (60) acres in size, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Pros- pect so that hereafter said territory shall be included within the bound- ary lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made and provided. i II :1 I i I I I Ii i I I I i i I I I I' II Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordin- ance together with an accurate plat of said territory with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. PASSED this 9 day of February, 1965. APPROVED this 9 day of February, 1965.
