ORDINANCE No. 1047
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT
PROSPECT, ILLINOIS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook
County, Illinois:
Section 1. That Chapter 9 of the Municipal Code
of the Village of Mount Prospect be and is hereby amended
by adding the said Chapter, Article II as follows:
"ARTICLE II. Excavations
Section 9.201. All excavations, trenches or
openings made in or under the street pavement
or under the sidewalks shall be back filled
with sand or gravel and shall be compacted in
the excavation, trench or openinp, by tamping,
flooding or both."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
