HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 1049 05/04/1965 , .4 19 463 159 ORDINANCE No. 1049 ANNEXING 11.784 ACRES NORTH OF GOLF ROAD SOUTH OF EAST LONNQUIST BOULEVARD IN THE VICINITY OF WILLIAM STREET WHEREAS, property legally described as follows: That part of the West 325.71 feet of Lot 7 which lies North of the center line of Golf Road in Owner's Subdivision of Section 13, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian; together with the East 143 feet of the West 468.71 feet of Lot 7 aforesaid which lies North of the center line of Golf Road and which also lies South of the South line of Lot 18 in Louis Gardens, being a subdivision of part of Lot 7 in Owner's Subdivision of Section 13, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, and not within any municipality and is less than sixty (60) acres in area; and WHEREAS, said land and territory is both 'lcontiguous and wholly bounded by the Village of Mount Prospect; and I..D ~ 0') c....0 WHEREAS, the Statutes of the State of Illinois, and part- icularly Section 7-1-13 of Chapter 24 thereof (Illinois Revised Statutes 1963) provides for the annexation of said territory upon the passage of an ordinance by the Village; and (J1 CD D.... .l i i WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, County of Cook, find and believe it to be to the best interest of said Village that the aforedescribed land and ter- ritory be annexed thereto; II Ii !I 11 ! 'I I II !, il Ii II II II II NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, County of Cook, Illinois: Section 1. That all land and territory legally described as follows, to-wit: That part of the West 325.71 feet of Lot 1 which lies North of the center line of Golf Road in Owner's Subdivision of Section 13, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian; together with the East 143 feet of the West 468.71 feet of Lot 7 aforesaid which lies North of the center line of Golf Road and which also lies South of the South line of Lot 10 in Louis Gardens, being a subdivision of part of Lot 7 in Owner's Subdivision of Section 13, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois Which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect and is wholly bounded by the Villape of Mount Prospect and is not presently in any incorporated municipality but is in the unincor- porated territory of Cook County and whereas said territory is less than sixty (60) acres in size, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect so that hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary lines and limits of said Vil~ lage, as is by law in such case made and provided. .. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said ter- ritory with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
