ORDINANCE NO. 1051
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT, WHICH PROPERTY IS LOCATED ON THE
SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SCHOOL AND LONNQUIST IN
GOLFHURST ESTATES
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the
Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect by Joseph and
Florence Munao being the sole owners of record of the herein-
after described land and territory, for annexation to the
Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the
corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the
Village of Mount Prospect, is uninhabited and has no electors
residing thereon; and
WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects
complies with the requirements of the statutes in such case made
and provided; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Vil-
lage of Mount Prospect have examined said petition, have consi-
dered the question of annexation of the territory described therein,
and believe it to be to the best interests of the municipality that
such territory be in fact annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That all lands and territories described in
said petition, to wit:

Lot 34 in Golfhurst Estates, a subdivision of part
of Lot 16 of the owner's subdivision of Section 13,
Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third
Principal Meridian according to the plat thereof
registered in Book 47 of Torrens Plats on Page 16
and 17 as Document No. 1652426 in the Registrar's
Office of Cook County, Illinois,
together with
That part of Lonnquist Boulevard lying South of the
North line of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 13 afore-
said and East of the West line or Lot 34 aforesaid
extended North, and that part of School Street which
lies West of the East line of the Northwest 1/4 of
Section 13 aforesaid and North of the South line or
Lot 34 aroresaid extended East,
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect, is
not within the limits or any municipality, contains no electors and

is not presently in any incorporated municipality, be and the same
is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect, so that here-
after said territory shall be included within the boundary lines and
limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount
Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordi-
nance together with an accurate plat of said territory with the
Recorder or Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
PASSED and APPROVED this 11th day of May, 1965.
