ORDINANCE NO. 1052
ANNEXING 21.3685 ACRES LYING NORTH OF GOLF ROAD
SOUTH OF EAST LONNQUIST BOULEVARD IN THE
VICINITY OF SCHOOL STREET
WHEREAS, property legally described as follows: All that part
of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 13, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of
the Third Principal Meridian which lies North of the Center line of Golf
Road; West of the East line of the Northwest 1/4 aforesaid being the
East line of the Golfhurst Estates Subdivision; East of the West line of
the Golfhurst Estates Subdivision and South of the North line of the
Northwest 1/4 aforesaid being the North line of the Golfhurst Estates
Subdivision, (excepting therefrom the following described tract of land:
Lot 34 in Golfhurst Estates, a subdivision of part of Lot 16 of the
Owner's Subdivision of Section 13, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of
the Third Pr~ncipal Meridian according to the plat thereof registered in
Book 47 of Torrens Plats on Page 16 and 17 as Document No. 1652426 in
the Registrar's Office of Cook County, Illinois, together with that part ~
of Lonnquist Boulevard lying South of the North line of the Northwest 1/4 .. I
of Section 13 aforesaid and East of the West line of Lot 34 aforesaid ~
extended North, and that part of School Street which lies West of the ~
East line of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 13 aforesaid and North of the I
South line of Lot 34 aforesaid extended East). 9
WHEREAS, said land and territory is both contiguous and wholly
bounded by the Village of Mount Prospect; and

WHEREAS, the Statutes of the State of Illinois, and particularly
Section 7-1.13 of Chapter 24 thereof (Illinois Revised Statutes 1963)
provides for the annexation of said territory upon the passage of an ordi-
nance by the Village; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect, County of Cook, find and believe it to be to the best
interest of said Village that the afore~escribed land and territory be
annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, County of Cook, Illinois:
Section 1. That all land and territory legally described as
follows, to wit:
All that part of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 13, Township 41
North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian which
lies North of the Center line of Golf Road; West of the East
line of the Northwest 1/4 aforesaid being the East line of
the Golfhurst Estates Subdivision; East of the West line of
the Golfhurst Estates Subdivision and South of the North line
of the Northwest 1/4 aforesaid being the North line of the
Golfhurst Estates Subdivision, (excepting therefrom the fol-
lowing described tract of land: Lot 34 in Golfhurst Estates,
a subdivision of part of Lot 16 of the Owner's Subdivision of
Section 13, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third

Principal Meridian according to the plat thereof registered
in Book 47 of Torrens Plats on Page 16 and 17 as Document
No. 1652426 in the Registrar's Office of Cook County, Illinois,
together with that part of Lonnquist Boulevard lying South of
the North line of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 13 aforesaid
and East of the West line of Lot 34 aforesaid extended North,
and that part of School Street which lies West of the East
line of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 13 aforesaid and North of
the South line of Lot 34 aforesaid extended East).
Which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect and is
wholly bounded by the Village of Mount Prospect and is not presently in
any incorporated municipality but is in the unincorporated territory of
Cook County and whereas said territory is less than sixty (60) acres in
size, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect
so that hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary
lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made and
provided.

Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount
is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance
with an accurate plat of said territory with the Recorder of
Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and ef-
fect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
