AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23.306
OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT MUNICIPAL CODE
TO ESTABLISH INCREASED WATER RATES

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT:
SECTION ONE: Paragraph B. of Section 23.306 of the
Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended, is
hereby further amended by deleting from the said Section 23.306
all of Paragr~ph B. thereof and inserting ,in its place a new

Paragraph B. which said new paragraph shall be~nd read as

follows:
B. All Village users within the Village
having a direct or indirect connection with
Village water mains shall pay the following
rates per quarter:
First 100,000 gallons
Over 100,000 gallons
$.55 per M
$.50 per M
Minimum charge: $3.85 per quarter.
SECTION TWO: Paragraph C. of Section 23.306 of the
Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended,' is

hereby further amended by deleting from the said Section 23.306
all of Paragraph C. thereof and inserting in its place a new
Paragraph C. which said paragraph shall be and read as follows:
C. All Village users without the Village
having a direct or indirect connection with
Village water mains shall pay a rate of $1 per
thousand ~allons of water. The minimum charge
shall be 'f per quarter.
SECTION THREE: This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
in the manner provided by law.
