HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 1077 10/26/1965 Ord:i,nance No. 1077 19 6~8 L}56 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT WHEREAS, a written petition under oath signed by all the owners of record of the land hereinafter described, and all the electors residing thereon, has been filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect requesting that said land be annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect; and vffiEREAS, said land is not within the corporate limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect; and ~rnEREAS, it is considered in the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect to annex said property to the cD Village; OJ ...p.. 0) NOltl, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT: ~ <...f1 C" SECTION ONE: That the territory legally described as: The South 15 acres of the North 30 acres of the Northeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4, excepting the West 787.84 feet thereof, and also excepting the East 200 feet of the South 316 feet thereof, of Section lIt, Town- ship 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, (f) an accurate map of which territory is attached hereto and made part hereof, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois. SECTION ~10: The Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect is hereby directed to file in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, a copy of this ordi- nance, together with an accurate map of the territory annexed. SECTION THREE: This ordinance shall be ln full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as provided by law.
