AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING 1.285 ACRES OF LAND LYING SOUTH
OF KENSINGTON ROAD, 740.0 FEET WEST OF WILSHIRE DRIVE
WHEREAS, property legally described as follows:
The West 140 feet of the East 280 feet of
the North 400 feet of the Northwest 1/4 of
the Northeast 1/4 of Section 34, Township 42
North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal
Meridian in Cook County, Illinois,
is within the unincorporated territory of Cook County and not
within any municipality and is less than sixty (60) acres in
areaj and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is both contiguous
and wholly bounded by the Village of Mount Prospectj and
\~REAS, the Statutes of the State of Illinois, and
particularly Section 7-1-13 of Chapter 24 thereof (Illinois
Revised Statutes 1963) provides for the annexation of said terri-
tory upon the passage of an ordinance by the Villagej and

vlliEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, County of
Cook, Illinois:
SECTION ONE: That all land and territory legally
described as follows, to-wit:
The West 140 feet of the East 280 feet of the
North 400 feet of the Northwest;,114"of the
Northeast 1/4 of Section 34,- T,~ship 42
North, Range 11 East of the"'Thi-rd Principal
Meridian in Cook COuXl~Y', Illinois,
which territory is contiguous to the Village of, Mount Prospect
and is wholly bounded by the Village of Mount Prospect and is

not presently in any incorporated municipality but is in the
unincorporated territory of Cook County and whereas said
territory is less than sixty (60) acres in size, be and the
same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect so that
hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary
lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case
made and provided.
SECTION TWO: That the Village Clerk of the Village
of Mount Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy
of this ordinance, together with an accurrate plat of said
territory, with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION THREE: That this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval accord-
ing to law.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF PROPERTY LOCATED
IN MOUNT PROSPECT RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
To: Trustees of the Mount Prospect Rural Fire Protection
District
Mr. J. T. Doherty, 1409 East Lowden Lane,
Mount Prospect, Illinois
Mr. R. G. Zehner, 1408 Greenwood, Mount
Prospect, Illinois
Mr. John Herrick, 1107 Alder Lane, Mount
Prospect, Illinois
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7-1-1 of the
Illinois Municipal Code, as amended August 3, 1965, you, and
each of you, as Trustees of the Mount Prospect Rural Fire
Protection District, are hereby notified that the corporate
authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect will consider the
annexation of certain property within the corporate limits of
the Mount Prospect Rural Fire Protection District at a regular
meeting of the said corporate authorities of the said Village
in the Village Hall in Mount Prospect, Illinois, on October 26,
1965, at 8:00 p.m., which said property is commonly known as
303 East Kensington Road, Mount Prospect, Illinois, and is
more particularly described as:
