AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT. CYPRESS LANE
WHEREAS, property legally described as follows:
The East 60 feet of the West 667.84 feet of
the South 15 acres of the North 30 acres of
the Northeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of
Section 14, To~mship 41 North, Range 11 East
of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook
County, Illinois,
is within the unincorporated territory of Cook County and not
within any municipality and is less than sixty (60) acres in
area; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is both contiguous
and wholly bounded by the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the Statutes of the State of Illinois, and
parcitularly Section 7-1-13 of Chapter 24 thereof (Illinois
Revised Statutes 1963) provides for the annexation of said terri-

tory upon the passage of an ordinance by the Village; and

~ffiEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the

Village of Mount Prospect, County of Cook, find and believe it
to be to the best interest of said Village that the afore-
described land and territory be annexed thereto;
NOvJ, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, County of
Cook, Illinois:
SECTION ONE: That all land and territory legally
described as follows, to-wit:
The East 60 feet of the West 667.84 feet of
the South 15 acres of the North 30 acres of
the Northeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of
Section 14, To~ship 41 North, Range 11 East
of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook
County, Illinois,
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect
and is wholly bounded by the Village of Mount Prospect and is

not presently in any incorporated municipality but is in the
unincorporated territory of Cook County and whereas said terri-
tory is less than sixty (60) acres in size, be and the same is
hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect so that here-
after said territory shall be included within the boundary
lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case
made and provided.
SECTION TWO: That the Village Clerk of the Village
of Mount Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified
copy of this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said
territory with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION THREE: That this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval accord-
ing to la \'1.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF PROPERTY
LOCATED IN ELK GROVE RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT

To: Trustees of the Elk Grove Rural Fire Protection District
Mr. Edwin Meier, 1702 Myrtle Drive, Mount
Prospect, Illinois
Mr. George Honemann, 914 South We-Go Trail,
Mount Prospect, Illinois
Mr. Robert A. Schnell, Algonquin Road, Elk
Grove, Illinois
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7-1-1 of the
Illinois Municipal Code, as amended August 3, 1965, you, and
each of you, as Trustees of the Elk Grove Rural Fire Protection__
District, are hereby notified that the corporate authorities of to
the Village of Mount Prospect will consider the annexation of
certain property within the corporate limits of the Elk Grove ~
Rural Fire Protection District at a regular meeting of the said Co
corporate authorities of the said Village in the Village Hall
in Mount Prospect, Illinois, on October 26, 1965, at 8:00 p.m., tJ;
which said property is commonly known as the right-of-way of L0
Cypress Lane from Frost Lane on the south to a point approxi-
mately 500 feet north of Frost Lane, and is more particularly @
described as:
The East 60 feet of the West 667.84 feet of
the South 15 acres of the North 30 acres of
the Northeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of
Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11 East
of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook
County, Illinois.
At the aforesaid time and place you may appear and
be heard in connection with the aforesaid proposed annexation
if you so see fit.
