AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING 2.0047 ACRES OF LAND LYING
SOUTHWESTERLY OF RAND ROAD AND NORTH OF JUDITH ANNE DRIVE
vffiEREAS, property legally described as follows:
That part of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast
1/4, lying Southwesterly of the center line of
Rand Road of Section 34, Township 42 North,
Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian
described as lying North of the North line of
the South 433.58 feet of the Northwest 1/4 of
the Northeast 1/4 of Section 34 aforesaid, and
East of the East line of West 575.43 feet of the
Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 3l~
aforesaid and South of the South line of the
North 683.60 feet (as measured on the West line)
of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of
Section 34 aforesaid, in Cook County, Illinois,
is within the unincorporated territory of Cook County and not
within any municipality and is less than sixty (60) acres in
area; and
~'lliEREAS, said land and territory is both contiguous
and wholly bounded by the Village of Mount Prospectj and
vlHEREAS, the Statutes of the State o~ Illinois, and
particularly Section 7-1-13 of Chapter 24 thereof (Illinois
Revised Statutes 1963) provides for the annexation of said
territory upon the passage of an ordinance by the Village; and
~~EREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect, County of Cook, find and believe it
to be to the best interest of said Village that the afore-
described land and territory be annexed thereto;
NOvJ, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, County of
Cook, Illinois:
SECTION ONE: That all land and territory legally
described
as follows, to-wit: ."

described as lying North of the North line of
the South 433.58 feet of the Northwest 1/4 of
the Northeast 1/4 of Section 34 aforesaid, and
East of the East line of West 575.43 feet of the
Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 34
aforesaid and South of the South line of the
North 683.60 feet (as measured on the West line)
of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of
Section 34 aforesaid, in Cook County, Illinois,
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect
and is wholly bounded by the Village of Mount Prospect and is
not presently in any incorporated municipality but is in the
unincorporated territory of Cook County and whereas said terri-
troy is less than sixty (60) acres in size, be and the same is
hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect so that here-
after said territory shall be included within the boundary lines
provided.

this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory
with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.

NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF PROPERTY LOCATED
IN MOUNT PROSPECT RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
To: Trustees of the Mount Prospect Rural Fire Protection
District
Mr. J. T. Doherty, 1409 East Lowden Lane,
Mount Prospect, Illinois
Mr. R. G. Zehner, 1408 Greenwood, Mount
Prospect, Illinois
Mr. John Herrick, 1107 Alder Lane, Mount
Prospect, Illinois

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7-1-1 of the
Illinois Municipal Code, as amended August 3, 1965, you, and
each of you, as Trustees of the Mount Prospect Rural Fire
Protection District, are hereby notified that the corporate
authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect will consider the
annexation of certain property within the corporate limits of
the Mount Prospect Rural Fire Protection District at a regular
meeting of the said corporate authorities of the said Village
in the Village Hall in Mount Prospect, Illinois, on October 26,
1965, at 8:00 p.m., which said property is commonly known as
a parcel of ground with a frontage of 205 feet on the west side
of Rand Road extending from a point approximately 575 feet
northwest of the intersection of Highland Street with Rand Road
to a point approximately 870 feet northwest of the said intersec-
tion of Highland Street with Rand Road, and is more particularly
described as:
