ORDINANCE NO. 108~
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING 0.~59 ACRE OF LAND ON
GOLF ROAD 35~.70 FEET WEST OF ELMHURST ROAD
WHEREAS, property legally described as follows:
Lot 3 (except the South 100 feet thereof) in
Juhnke's Subdivision of that part of the East
85~.70 feet of the Northeast l/~ of Section l~,
Township ~l North, Range 11 East of the Third
Principal Meridian lying South of the Center
of Golf Road; together with the 50 feet lying
North of and adjoining said Lot 3, in Cook
County, Illinois,

is within the unincorporated territory of Cook County, and not within any
municipality and is less than sixty (60) acres in area; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is both contiguous and wholly
bounded by the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the Statutes of the State of Illinois, and partic-
ularly Section 7-1-13 of Chapter 2~ thereof (Illinois Revised Statutes
1963) provides for the annexation of said territory upon the passage of an
ordinance by the Village; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Mount Prospect, County of Cook, find and believe it to be to the best
interest of said Village that the aforedescribed land and territory be
annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, County of Cook, Illinois:

SECTION ONE: That all land and territory legally
described as follows, to-wit:
Lot 3 (except the South 100 feet thereof) in
Juhnke's Subdivision of that part of the East
85~.70 feet of the Northeast l/~ of Section l~,
Township ~l North, Range 11 East of the Third
Principal Meridian lying South of the center
of Golf Road, together with the 50 feet lying
North of and adjoining said Lot 3, in Cook
County, Illinois,
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect and is
wholly bounded by the Village of Mount Prospect and is not presently in
any incorporated municipality but is in the unincorporated territory of
Cook County and whereas said territory is less than sixty (60) acres in
size, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect
so that hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary
lines and limits of the said Village, as is by law in such case made and
provided.

SECTION TWO: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount en

Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance
together with an accurate plat of said territory with the Recorder of Deeds
of Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION THREE: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.

VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF PROPERTY
LOCATED IN ELK GROVE RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
To: Trustees of the Elk Grove Rural Fire Protection District
Mr. Edwin Meier, 1702 Myrtle Drive, Mount
Prospect, Illinois
Mr. George Honemann, 914 South We-Go Trail,
Mount Prospect, Illinois
Mr. Robert A. Schnell, Algonquin Road, Elk
Grove, Illinois
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7-1-1 of the
Illinois Municipal Code, as amended August 3, 1965, you, and
each of you, as Trustees of the Elk Grove Rural Fire Protection
District, are hereby notified that the corporate authorities of
the Village of Mount Prospect will consider the annexation of
certain property within the corporate limits of the Elk Grove
Rural Fire Protection District at a regular meeting of the said
corporate authorities of the said Village in the Village Hall
in Mount Prospect, Illinois, on October 26, 1965, at 8:00 p.m.,
which said property is commonly known as the property owned by
Salvatore Di Mucci, Sr., located on the south side of Golf Road
at or near the intersection of Golf Road with I-Oka Avenue and
located approximately at 401 West Golf Road, Mount Prospect,
Illinois, and is more particularly described as:

854.70 feet of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 14,
Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third
Principal Meridian lying South of the center
of Golf Road; together with the 50 feet lying
North of and adjoining said Lot 3, in Cook
County, Illinois.
At the aforesaid time and place you may appear and
be heard in connection with the aforesaid proposed annexation
if you so see fit.
