November 16, 2021

Commissioner Bork called the meeting to order at 3:10 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to conduct Fire Department Oral
Interviews,
Roll Call: Rockne Bork, Commissioner
Jeanne Claussen, Commissioner
William Knee, Commissioner
Also Present: Tom Wang, Deputy Fire Chief
Dean Phenegar, Fire Batallion Chief
Sarah Gonet, Administrative Assistant
CITIZENS TO BE HEARD
No one in attendance.
CLOSED SESSION
Commissioner Bork asked for a motion to go into closed session:
1. Personnel 5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (1) -The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or
dismissal of specific employees of the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against
an employee to determine its validity
2. To Conduct Fire Department Interviews
A motion was made by Commissioner Claussen and seconded by Commissioner Knee to go into Closed Session at 3:10 p.m.
Roll Call: Ayes: Bork, Claussen, Knee Nays: None Abstain: None
Motion Carried
The Board returned to Open Session with Commissioner Bork, Commissioner Claussen and Commissioner Knee present
at 7:50 p.m.
With no further business, a motion was made by Commissioner Knee and seconded by Commissioner
Busse to adjourn the meeting at 7:50 p.m.
