HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 1108 11/16/1965 , , Ii II Ii II ORDINANCE NO. 1108 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FROM THE MOUNT PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE WHEREAS, The Board of Appeals has heretofore, on September 24, 1965, conducted a public hearing on a request by Salvatore Di Mucci, Sr., for a variation from the Mount Prospect Zoni~g Ordinance to permit the construction of a water tank and pumping station on property hereafter described located in the R-A Single-Family District in Mount Prospect, Illinois; and WHEREAS, notice of public hearing was given in the manner provided by law; and WHEREAS, the construction of a water tank and pumping station is required at said location to provide adequate water supplies and fire protection for residents of the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, The Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect has recommended that the variation sought by the petitioner be granted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That a variation from the zoning ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect is hereby granted to Salvatore Di Mucci, Sr. to permit the construction of a water tank and pumping station on premises located in Unit No. 7 of Elk Ridge Villa, which premises are more particularly described as, The North 80.0 feet of the South 646.0 feet of the West 160.0 feet of Lot 5 in the Division of the Louis F.,Busse Farm, being the Northeast Quarter except the West 686.40 feet of the North- west Quarter of said Northeast Quarter of Section 15, fownship 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, Cook County, Illinois. , I- . - SECTION TWO: That the Superintendent of Building of the Village of Mount Prospect is herby directed to issue a building permit in accordance with the variation hereinabove granted upon proper application therefor. SECTION THREE: That the variation granted by this Ordinance shall become null and void and of no force and effect whatsoever unless an application for a building permit pursuant to such variation is made and constuction commenced within one I year from the date this said Ordinance becomes effective.
