OPEN SESSION MINUTES
July 15, 2021
Police Department Conference Room
Chairman Powers called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m..
Roll Call: James Powers, Chairperson
Rockne Bork, Commissioner
William Knee, Commissioner
Also Present: John Koziol, Police Chief
Mike Eterno, Deputy Police Chief

The purpose of this meeting was to conduct Police Department Oral Interviews. Chairperson Powers asked for a motion to
go into Closed Session at 1:45 p.m.
CLOSED SESSION
1. Personnel 5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (1) -The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or
dismissal of specific employees of the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against
an employee to determine its validity
2. To conduct Police Department Oral Interviews.
A motion was made by Commissioner Bork and seconded by Commissioner Knee.
Roll Call: Ayes: Knee, Bork, Powers Nays: None Abstain: None Motion Carried
The Board returned to Open Session at 8:42 p.m. with everyone present from the previous session.
Chairperson Powers, Commissioner Bork, and Commissioner Knee
Chairman Powers asked for a motion to accept the Police Officer Eligibility List.
A motion was made by Commissioner Bork and seconded by Commissioner Knee to accept the list.
Chairman Powers asked for a motion to terminate the current list on July 15, 2021.
A motion was made by Commissioner Bork and seconded by Commissioner Knee to terminate the list.
Roll Call: Ayes: Knee, Bork, Powers Nays: None Abstain: None Motion Carried
A motion was made by Commissioner Bork and seconded by Commissioner Knee to adjourn the meeting at 8:44 p.m.
