ORDINANCE NO. 1119
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF MOrn~T
PROSEPCT TO PROVIDE FOR EXTENDED CLOSING HOURS ON
NEW YEARS EVE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: Section 13.115 of the Municipal Code of
Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended, is hereby further amended
by adding, at the end of the first paragraph of the said section,
the words, "and on January 1 of each year the said closing hours
shall be ft-om four a.m. to ten a.m.," so that the said first
paragraph of the said Section 13.115 shall thereafter, in its
entirety, be and read as follows:
It shall be unlawful to sell or offer
for sale any alcoholic liquor at retail in
the Village, or to permit any person to con-
sume any alcoholic liquor in or on any premises
for which a license providing for consumption on
the premises has been issued pursuant to this
Chapter 13, between the hours of one a.m. and
six a.m. on any day except that on Sunday the
closing hours shall be from two o'clock a.m.
to twelve noon, and on January 1 of each year
the said closing hours shall be from four a.m.
to ten a.m.

SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
in the manner provided by law.
