MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF
THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
July 24, 2007
CALL TO ORDER Mayor Wilks called the meeting to order at meeting to order at 7:07 p.m.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Wilks led the Pledge of Allegiance.
NEW BUSINESS
Mayor Wilks stated the Special Meeting was being held for the following items of
business:
1. AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF
OF PROPERTY THROUGH CONDEMNATION OR OTHERWISE IN
THE TAX INCREMENT REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA,
6 -18 West Busse Avenue. This property is located in Sub Area #1.
2. A RESOLUTION WAIVING OBJECTION TO NORTHFIELD WOODS
SANITARY DISTRICT'S SPECIAL USE FOR SANITARY SEWER
LIFT STATION AND GENERATOR RELOCATION AT WILLOW AND
SANDERS ROADS IN GLENVIEW, ILLINOIS
Mayor Wilks presented for a first reading an ordinance authorizing the acquisition
of property in the tax increment redevelopment area, Subarea #1; 6-18 West
Busse Avenue.
Trustee Zadel, seconded by Trustee Juracek, moved to waive the rule requiring
two (2) readings of an ordinance:
Upon roll call: Ayes: Corcoran, Juracek, Korn, Lohrstorfer, Zadel
Nays: None
Motion carried.
Trustee Zadel, seconded by Trustee Lohrstorfer, moved for approval of Ordinance

Motion carried.
Mayor Wilks presented a resolution waiving objection to Northfield Woods Sanitary
District's Special Use for sanitary sewer lift stations and generator location at
Willow and Sanders Roads in Glenview, Illinois.

ADJOURN
Village Manager Michael Janonis stated this resolution waives the Village's
statutory thirty (30) day time period within which to file comments in regard to the
Northfield Woods Sanitary District's Special Use petition. Village Manager
Janonis stated that while the Village of Mount Prospect is not part of this District
there is a legal requirement for the Village to respond. To accommodate the
District's required response time, the resolution is being brought forward at the
Special Meeting.
Trustee Lohrstorfer, seconded by Trustee ladel, moved for approval of Resolution
34-07:
