AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 ENTITLED "TRAFFIC CODE"
OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Section 18.2001 entitled "Speed Restrictions" of Chapter 18 (Traffic
Code) of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby further amended
by reducing the speed limit on Kensington Road for east and westbound traffic between
the west Village limits and Wheeling Road from 35 MPH to 30 MPH; so that hereinafter
said Section 18.2001 shall include the following:

Street Traffic Movement MPH Description
Kensington Rd. East & Westbound 30 Btw. Wheeling Rd and the
westerly Village limits"
SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form the manner provide by law.

NAYS: Hendricks
ABSENT: None
