ORDINANCE NO. 4665
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE V OF CHAPTER 22
OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Section 22.504.2 "Water Rates" of Chapter 22 of the Village
Code of Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding thereto a
new paragraph H; so that hereinafter said Section 22.504.2 shall include the following:
"H. Nothing in this Chapter shall prohibit the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village from entedng into an Intergovernmental Agreement to sell water to a
governmental entity. The rate for water to be sold by the Village to a
governmental entity shall be as specified in the Intergovernmental Agreement."
SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
