AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 ENTITLED 'TRAFFIC CODE'
OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ON E: That Section 18.1320.B entitled "Time Limits" of Article XIII of Chapter
18 (Traffic Code) of the Village Code, as amended, is hereby further amended by creating
a Schedule B under Four Hour Parking; so that hereinafter, said Section 18.1302.B shall
be and read as follows:
"B. Four Hour Parking.
1. No person shall parking any automobile or other vehicle more than four (4)
hours between the hours of seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. and six o'clock (6:00)
P.M. on any day except Sundays and legal holidays on any streets or areas
or portions thereof listed on Schedule XII A of the Appendix of this Chapter,
which Schedule XII A is incorporation herein by reference.
2. No person shall parking any automobile or other vehicle more than four (4)
hours between the hours of seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. and six o'clock (6:00)
P.M. on any day except Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays on any
streets or areas or portions thereof listed on Schedule X ll B of the Appendix
of this Chapter, which Schedule XII B is incorporation herein by reference.
SECTION TWO: That Section 18.2012 entitled "Schedule XII Four Hour Parking" of
Chapter 18 (Traffic Code) of the Village Code, as amended, is hereby further amended
by creating a Schedule XII A and a Schedule XII B; so that hereinafter said Section
18.2012 of Chapter 18 shall be and read as follows:
"Sec. 18.2012. Schedule Xll A - Four Hour Parking. In accordance with Section
18.1320.B.1 and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, no
person shall park a vehicle for more than four (4) hours on any day, except Sundays and
legal holidays, between the hours of seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. and six o'clock (6:00) P.M.
within the district or upon any of the streets or parts of streets as follows:

Sec. 18.2012. Schedule Xll B - Four Hour Parking. In accordance with Section
18.1320.B.2 and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall park a

of Chapter 18 (Traffic Code) of the Village Code, as amended, is hereby further amended
by adding thereto in proper alphabetical sequence the following; so that hereinafter said
Section 18.2006 shall include:
"Name of Side of

Thayer St. South Btw. 90 ff. and 180 ft. west of Main St."
SECTION FOUR: That Section 18.2011 .B entitled "Schedule Xl B - Two Hour Partdng"
of Chapter 18 (Traffic Code) of the Village Code, as amended, is hereby further amended
by deleting the following:

of Chapter 18 (Traffic Code) of the Village Code, as amended, is hereby further amended
by adding in proper alphabetical sequence the following:

SECTION SlX: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
