AN ORDINAN CE AMENDING SECTICN 1 OF THE
MOON'!' PROSPECT ZONING ORDINAN CE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS:
SECTION CNE: Section 1 of the Mount Prospect Zon:Ll'lg
Ordinance, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding to the
said Section 1 a new paragraph (F), the said new paragraph to be and
read as follows:
(F) ZONING OF STREETS, ALLEYS, PUBLIC WAYS, WATER
WAYS, AND RAILROAD RIGHTS OF WAY. All streets, alleys,
public ways, water ways, and railroad rights of way,
if a particular zoning classification has not otherwise
been specifically designated, shall be deemed to be in
the same zone as the property immediately abutting upon
such streets, alleys, public ways, water ways, and
railroad rights of way. Where the center line of a
street, alley, public wa7~ water way, or railroad right
of way serves as a zoning district boundary, the
zoning of such areas, unless a particular zoning classi-
fication is otherwise specifically designated, shall
be deemed to be the same as that of the abutting
property up to such center line.
SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the
manner provided by law.
