aN ORDINfu.1CE ANNEXING TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT
PROSPECT 2.5 ACRES OF LAND SOUTH OF ESTATES
DRIVE AND WEST OF THE FOREST VIEW SCHOOL

WHEREAS, a written petition under oath signed by the owner of record of the
land hereinafter described has been filed with the VIllage Clerk of the Vil-
lage of Mount Prosp~ct requesting that said land be annexed to the Village
or Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, th~re are no electors residing within said land to be annexed; and
WHEREAS. said land is not within the corporate limits of any municipality,
but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect,
Illinois, find and believe it to be in the best interest of the said Village
that the said land and territory be annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That all land and territory legally described as follows, to-wit:
The East Half of the South 5 acres of Lot 1, in
Meier Brothers Subdivision, being a subdivision
o~ parts of Sections 10 and 15, Township 41 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
in Cook County, Illinois.

an accurate map of which territory is attached hereto and made a part hereof
by this reference, be, and the same is hereby, annexed to the Village of Mount
Prospect, Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: The Village Cl~rk of the Vi.llage of Mount Prospect is h~reby
directed to file in the office of the Recorder of ~~ds of Cook County, Illinois,
a copy of this ordinanc~, together with an accurate map of the territory annexed.
SECTION THREE: This ordinance shall b~ in full force and effect from and
its passage and approval as provid~d by law.
