ORDINN~CE NO. 1155
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE VILLAGE OF HOUNT PROSPECT
APPROXIMATELY 8 ACRES OF LAND ADJACENT TO THE SOUTHERLY
BOUNDRY OF FOREST VIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
WHEREAS, a written petition under oath signed by the owner of record of the
lapd hereinafter decribed has been filed with the Village Clerk of the Vil-
lage of Mount Prospect requesting that said land be annexed to the Village
of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, there are no electors residing within said land to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, said land is not within the corporate limits of any municipality,
but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Hount Prospect,
Illinois, find and believe it to be in the best interest of the said Village
that the said land and territory be annexed thereto;
Nml, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That all land and territory legally described as fOllows, to-wit:
The West 137.75 feet of the North 475.0 feet
of Lot 4; the East 137.75 feet of the West
275.50 feet of the North 475.0 feet of Lot 4,
all in the Division of th8 Lou~3 F. B~ssc farms,
being the Northeast quarter (except the West
686.40 feet of the Northwest quarter of the
Northeast quarter of Section 15, Township 41
North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois;

Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois;

an accurate map of which territory is attached hereto and made a part hereof
by this reference, be, and the same is hereby, annexed to the Village of Mount
Prospect, Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: The Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect is hereby
directed to file in the office of the Recorder of De~ds of Cook County, Illinois,
a copy of this Ordinance, together with an accurate map of the territory annexed.
SECTION THREE: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval as provided by law.
