ORDINANCE NO. 1156
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP IlS OF THE
MOUNT PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect hereto-
fore on April 22, 1966, conducted a public hearing on a request for a zoning
classification change from R-X (Single-family District) to R-l Single family
District of certain property hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was given in the
manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has determined that the zoning change is
in accord with the overall plan in that area and would in no way be detrimental
to Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect has
recommended that the zoning change be granted and the President and Board of
Trust~es of the Village of Mount Prospect have considered the said reco~~end-
ation and believe that the zoning change would be in the best interest of the
said Village;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Map IlS of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village ",<:-.
of Mount Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby, further amended by reclassify-
ing from R-X Single Family Residence District to the R-l Single-family ResidencG
District the following described property:
The East half of the south 5 acres of Lot 1, in Meier
Brothers Subdivision, being a subdivision of parts of
Sections 10 and 15, Township 41 North, Range 11, East
of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
