WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the Corporate limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Pro~pect, and I-iHEREAS, said petition under oath, signed by all the property owners 'therein and all the electors therein request annexation in full compliance with the requirements of the statutes of the State of Illinois, and in particularly Section 7-1-8 of Chapter 24 thereof (Illinois Revised Statutes 1963) and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have examined said petitioners, have considered the question of annexation of the territory described therein, and believE' it to be to the best interests of the municipality that such ter!'itory be in fact annexed thereto; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRI:SIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT.
