ORDlNAN<E NO. 1170
AN ORDINANCE DEIETING THE R-A DISTRICT,
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE, FROM THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF mUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Pro spect,
Illinois did have a public hearing on May 20, 1966, at the Mount Prospect
Village Hall pursuant to notice of same published on May 5, 1966 in the
Mount Prospect Herald; and,
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission did hear testimony under case
No. 66-15p which requested the deletion of the R-A District (Single
FamilY'Residence) in all future subdivisions within the corporate
limits of the Village of Mount Prospect; and,
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission determined and recommended the
deletion of the R-A District from the Zoning Ordinance of Mount Prospect
for all future subdivisions; and,
WHEREAS, the Judiciar,y Committee of the Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect met on Jul1' 1, 1966, considered the
said recommendation and concurred; and,
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Mount Prospect, Illinois, having considered the said recommendation
find and believe same to be in the best interest of the Village of Mount
Prospect;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENl' AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VIIJ..AGE OF MJUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the R-A District - Single Family
Residence as set forth in the Zoning Ordinance of Mount Prospect under
Ordinance No. 874, and as amended, be, and hereby is deleted from the
Zoning Ordinance of Mount Pro spect with respect to all future subdivisions.
SECTION T'~: All ordinances, or parts of ordinances, in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the
manner provided by law.
