fu1 ORDINANCE Al1ENDING THE FLOOR AREA RATIO IN
THE R-4 DISTRICT (RESIDENTIAL PLANNED DEV-)
ELOPMENT) OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT ZONING ORDINfu1CE.
WHEREAS, the Plan Conunission of the Village of llount
Prospect did on February 18, 1966, have a public hearing at
the Village Hall of Mount Prospect, pursuant to notice of same
published in the Mount Prospect Herald on February 3, 1966, and;
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission did hear testimony on the
Floor Area Ratio in R-4 Districts (Residential Planned Dev-
elopment) under Case No. 56-lOP, and;
WHEREAS, the Plan Conunission did recommend that the
Floor Area Ratio in R-4 Districts be amended to 0.50, and;
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Committee of the Board of
Trustees of the Village or Mount Prospect did meet on July
1, 1966, considered said recommendation and concurred, and;
\>lHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect consider it to be the best interest
of the Village of l"iount Prospect that the followin~- be adopted:
HOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOill1T PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the prov~s~on found in (f) under
"R-4 District, Residential Planned Development - Bulk Reg-
ulations" of Section 4 of the Mount Prospect Zoning Ordinance
published as of March 31, 1966 shall be and hereafter read
as follows:
(f) Maximum F.A.R. 0.50
SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, app~oval and publication in
the manner provided by law.
