ORDINANCE NO. 1182
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13.115 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT - CLOSING HOURS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Section 13.115 of the Municipal Code of Mount
Prospect, as amended, is hereby further amended by deleting the entire first
paragraph of said Section 13.115 with "from two o'clock a.m. to twelve noon",
and inserting in its place a new first paragraph of Section 13.115, said new
paragraph to be and read as follows:
Section 13.115. Closinp, Hours - Sunday Closinf'
It shall be unlawful to sell or offer for sale any alcoholic
liquor at retail in the Villap,e, or to permit any person to
consume any alcoholic liquor in or on any premises for which
a license providinp for consumption on the premises has been
issued pursuant to this Chapter 13, between the hours of
one a.m. to six a.m. on Monday throuph Friday inclusive;
between the hours of three a.m. to six a.m. on Saturday;
and between the hours of three a.m. to twelve noon on Sunday;
and on January 1 of each year said closing hours shall be
from four a.m. to twelve noon.
SECTION TWO: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner
provided by law.
