ORDINANCE NO. 1183
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING RATES OF TAXI FARES PURSUANT
TO SECTION 15.1912 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
ii NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESI DENT AND BOARD OF
! TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Ii SECTION ONE: That Section 15.1912 of the Municipal Code of the
Ii Village of Mount Prospect be and is hereby amended by adding thereto a
II new sub-paragraph (a) and said new sub-paragraph (a) of Section 15.1912

(a) Prevailing Rates:
rates are as follows:
Within the Village limits the
45~ for the first one-half (1/2) mile or fraction
thereof for one passenger;
lO~ for each additional one-quarter (1/4) mile or
fraction thereof for one passenger;
lO~ for each one and one-half (1-1/2) minute waiting
time or traffic delay.

lO~ for each additional passenger above the age of
twelve (12) years for the entire trip.
25~ service charge is added to the above rates for
parcel delivery and the handling of all items other
than norrr.al luggage.

II SECTION TWO: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
II from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided
by law.
50~ service charge is added to the above rates for
all trips which do not originate or terminate within
the Village limits of Mount Prospect.
