ORDINANCE NO. 1190 MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLJ
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN Lars IDCATED AT
429 AND 433 WEST RAND ROAD
VJHEREAS, a written petition under oath signed by the owner of
record of the lar~ hereinafter described has been filed with the Village
Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect requesting that said land be
annexed to the Village of l\'lount Prospect; and
.VJ1iEREAS, there are no electors residing wi thin said land to
be armexed; and
w~, said land is not within the corporate limits of any
municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
wF.EREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect, Illinois, find and believe it to be in the best interest
of the said Village that the said land and territory be annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT OEDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOAPD OF
TRUSTEES OF Tl.!E VILlAGE OF MOUNT PROSPEC1', ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That all land ard territory legally described as
follows, to-wit:
Lots 7, 8 and that part of Lot 14 lying Northeasterly of
a line drawn from a point on the Southeasterly line of
said Lot 14 beir~ 11.00 feet Southwesterly of the Southeast
corner of said Lot 14 to a point on the Northwesterly line
of said Lot 14, being 48.00 feet Southwesterly of the Northeast
corner of said Lot 14, together with that part of the 20
foot wide public cross-walk lying Easterly of a line
drawn from the aforedescribed point on the Northwesterly
line of said Lot 14 being 48.00 feet Southwesterly of the
Northeast corner of said Lot 14 to the Southerlyrnost corner
of said Lot 8, all in Block 3 in PROSPEC1' l\'T.ADO\\TS, a
Subdi vision in the \~est half of the Southwest quarter of
Section 27, Township 42 North, RP-nge 11, East of the Third
Principal ~1eridian, in Cook County, Illinois, according to
the plat thereof recorded December 9, 1949, as
Document No. 14692921,

an accurate map of which territory is attached hereto and made a part hereof
by this reference, be, ard the same is hereby, annexed to the Village of
Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois.
SEcrrrON TWO: The Village Clerk of the Village of l\1ount Prospect
is hereby directed to file in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook
County, Illinois, a copy of this GrdirUlnce, together with an accurate map
of the territory annexed.
SECTION THHEE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and
from and after its passage and approval as provided by law.

qualified and acting Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect in the
