HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 1192 02/21/1967 OHDINANCE NO. 1192 AN OHDINANCE Ar'1ENDING rr:Ap 22IJ OF THE fvl0UNT PHOSPECT ZONING OPLINM~CE vJHEREAS, the Plan Canmission of the Village of TJIount Prospect heretofore on November 18, 1966, conducted a public hearing on a request for a zoning classification change from R-X (Single-family District) to B-3 (Business District) of certain property hereinafter described; and vI.I:{[<}{EAS, the Plan Corrmission of the Village of Mount Prospect recommended not to adopt the zoning change; and I !I ii wl~S, the Judiciary Committee of the Board of rrrustees !,il held their regular meeting on J.anuary 13, 1967, at the Hount Prospect Village Hall and at said meeting did consider Cause 66-28P; and II il II II I WHEREAS, the Judiciary Committee determined that said rezoning would not be harmful provided the petitioner resubdivide his property so trlat petitioner's entire tract would be contained in one subdivided lot; and wllliHEAS, the petitioner has submitted a plat of resubdivision accomplishing the proposal of the Judiciary Conmittee; and vIHEP.EAS, the President ana Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have considered the said request for rezoning of certain property under Cause No. 66-28p and believe that the zoning change would be in the best interest of the said Village. OF TRUSTEES OF THE VIILAGE 01<' MOillE PHOSPEC'I', COOK COUNTY, IILINOIS: SECTION ONE: 'I'llat Tv1ap 22N of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby, further amended by reclassifying from R-X Single Family Residence District to the B-3 Business District the following described property: I I ,I II Ii II i Lot 7, 8 and that part of Lot 14 lying Northeasterly of a line drawn fran a point on the Southeasterly line of said Lot 14 being 11.00 feet Southwesterly of the Southeast corner of said Lot 14 to a point on the Northwesterly line of said Lot 14 being 48.00 feet Southwesterly of the North- east corner of said Lot 14, together with that part of the 20 foot wide public cross-walk lying Easterly of a line drawn from the aforedescribed point on the Northwesterly line of said Lot 14 being 48.00 feet Southwesterly of the Northeast corner of said Lot 14 to the Southerlymost corner of said Lot 8, all in Block 3 in PROSPECT MEADOWS, a Subdivision in the West rlalf of the Southwest quarter of Section 27, 'l'ownship 42 North, Bange 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, according to the plat thereof recorded December 9, 1949, as Docurr~nt No. 14692921. . ~ - 2 - SECTION '1'JO: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
