OHDINANCE NO. 1198
AN OHDIIJANCE Ar'~<],IDING r.lAP 3N OF TPE ~~OUNrr PHOSPECT
ZONING ORDINANCE
vnJEHEAS, the Plan Corrmission of the Village of frount Prospect
heretofore on January 20, 1967 conducted a public hearing on a request for
a zoning classification change from B-I (single family district) to B-3
(apartment residence district) of certain property hereinafter described;
and
vJHEPJ~AS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was given in
the rrarmer proviaed by lmJ; and
vJ1iEPEAS, the Plan Comnission has determined that the zoning
change is in accord with the overall plan in that area and would in no vJay
be detrimental to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
1:J1lliREAS, the Plan Corrmission of the Village of ~~ount Prospect
has recorrmended that the zoning change be granted and the President and
Boalu of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have considered the
said recorrmendation and believe trk~t the zoning change would be in the
best interest of said Village; and
W1IEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
r-bunt Prospect have deterIr.ined that the best interest of the Village of
j\'bunt Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Commission
recommendation regarding the subject property;
NOVJ, THEREFDEE, BE 1'1' OF[)AINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOMD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF !',10UNr PROSPECT, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That rrap 3N of the Zonirg Ordinance of the Village
of Nount Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby, further amended by
reclassifying from H-l Single Family District to the R-3 Apartment
Hesidence District the following described property:
Lots 1 and 2 of Block 1 of First Addition to
Centralwood, a Subdivision of Lots "A", "B"
and "c" in Centralwood Subdivision, and that part
south of the railroad and east of a line 150.24 feet
west of the east line of Lot "II" in Kirchhoff's
Subdivision, Section 33, 'l'ovmship 42 North,
Bange 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION 1'VO: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner
provided by law.
