ORDINANCE NO. 1199
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ]ViAP 3N OF' THE [.vUNT PROSPEC1' ZONING OfmINANCE
WliliREAS, the Plan Comnlssion of the Village of fv10unt Prospect
heretofore on January 20, 1967 conducted a public hearing under Case 66-26p
on a request for a zoning classification c~wmge from B-3 (Apartment
Residence District) to R-l (Single Family District) of certain property
hereinafter described; and
h'llliHEAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was given in
the manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has determined that the zoning change
is in accord with the overall plan in that area and would in no vJaY be
detrimental to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
VJHEHEAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect
has recommended that the zoning change be granted and the President ani
Board of 1'rustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have considered the
said recommendation and believe that the zoning change would be in the
best interest of said Village; and
VJHEREAS, the President and Boam of Trustees of the Village of
r:lount Prospect have determined that the best interest of the Village of
Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Commission
recomnendation regarding the subject property;
NOW, 1'HEREFORE, BE rl' OHDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
THUSTEES OF THE VIILAGE OF MOUN1' PROSPECT, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Map 3N of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of [,lount Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby, further amende<'l by
reclassifying from R-3 Apartment Residence District to the R-l Single-Family
Residence District the following described property:
Lot 16 of Block 1 of Centralwood Subdivision located
in the West 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 33,
1'ownship 42 North, Range 11, East of the 'I'hird
Principal fv~ridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION 'rwo: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner
provided by law.
