OFDINANCE NO. 2003
AN ORDINANCE M'lENDING fJ'JAP 16N OF 'TIlE rvl0UN'l' PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect
heretofore on February 17, 1967 conducted a pUblic hearing under Case
No. 67-1P on a request for a zoning classification change from R-X (Single
Family District) to B-3 (Business - Retail and Service District) of certain
property hereinafter described; and
: WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made in the
, manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission llas determined that the zoning change
is in accord with the overall plan in that area and it would in no way be
detrimental to the Village of Hount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect has
recomnended that the zoning change be g;ranted; and
Wl-lEREAS, the Judiciary Committee of the Board of Trustees of the
Village of rv'iOunt Prospect did meet on April 7,1967, and reviewed Case No.67-1P,
and have determined that said recommendation of the Plan Commission would be
in the best interest of the Village of r,Tount Prospect; and
WllEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
I\'lount Prospect 1">.ave determined that the best interests of the Village of
rv'iOunt Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Commission's
recorrunendation on Case No. 67-1P regarding the subject property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY 'TIlE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF 'TIlE VILLAGE OF Ivl0UN'r PROSPECT, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That rTJap 16N of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of r';;ount Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby, further amended by
reclassifying from R-X (Single Family District) to B-3 (Business - Retail
and Service District) the following described property:
'l'he North 361.60 feet of that part of the
Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 34,
Township 42 North, I~ange 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian lying West of the center line
of Rarld Road, in Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided
by law.
