ORDINANCE NO. 200S
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 13.106, 13.107, AND
13.114.1 OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT MUNICIPAL CODE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT:
SECTION ONE: Section 13.106 of the Municipal Code of the Village
of Mount Prospect of 19S7, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding
thereto an additional paragraph to read as follows:
Class "M" license, for issuance to hotels, motels,
motor inns, motor lodges which shall authorize the
licensee to sell and offer for sale at retail in the
premises srecified in such license, alcoholic liquor
for consumption on such premises and also alcoholic
liQuor in its original package. Such sales of
alcoholic liquor, whether for consumption or in its
original package, may be made to guests of such hotel,
motel, motor inn, or motor lodge in the rooms occupied
by such ruests on such premises. The annual fee
therefor shall be $l,SOO.
SECTION TWO: Section 13.107 of the Municipal Code of the Village of
Mount Prospect of 19S7, as amended, is hereby further amended to provide for
the issuance of one Class "M" liquor license so that the said Section 13.107
shall thereafter read as follows:
Section 13.107 Number of Licenses. There shall be issued
in the Village no more than:
(a) Three (3) Class "- licenses
(b) Six (6) Class B licenses
(c) Nine (9 ) Class C licenses
(d) One (1) Class D license
(e) One (1) Class G license
(f) One (1) Class ~1 license
to be in effect at any time.
SECTION THREE: Section 13.114.1 of the Municipal Code of the Villape
of Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended, is hereby further amended by deleting
the word "aad" following the \-lords "Class A" and inserting the words "Class
G or Class 11", after the words "Class B" so that the said Section 13.114.1
shall thereafter be and read as follows:
Section 13.114.1 Miscellaneous Restrictions.
In addition to the other restrictions set forth in
this Prticle, the following restrictions shall also
apply as hereinafter set forth~
A. On all premises for V1hich Class "A", Class "B",
Class "e" or Class "W' licenses have been issued, there
shall be no mechanical pinball machine or device
operated in said premises provided, however, that
cigarette and candy dispensing machines are permitted.
SECTION FOUR: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
