ORDINANCE NO. 2022
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY OF AN ADDITIONAL TAX FOR
STREET AND BRIDGE PURPOSES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING
MAY It 1967 AND ENDING APRIL 30t 1968 FOR THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECTt COOK COUNTYt ILLINOIS
WHEFEASt pursuant to the Illinois Revised Statutest Section 696a of
Chapter 24t a village in empowered to levy an annual street and bridpe tax of
not more than .06 percent of the full fair cash value to taxable property in
said villaget as equalized or assessed by the Department of revenue subject to
other provisions of the Illinois law; and
I WHEREASt a village maYt by three-fourths vote of the members elected
to the Board of Trusteest levy an additional tax for street and bridge purposes
I at the rate of not to exceed .04166 percent of the full fair cash value of
taxable property within said villaget as equalized or assessed by the Department
of Revenue; and
HHEREASt additional funds are required for street and bridge purposes
II, in order to properly maintain same;
NOWt THEREFOREt BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
IOF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECTt COOK COUNTYt ILLINOIS:

'I SECTION 1. That an additional tax of .04166 percent of the full fair
cash valuet as equalized or assessed by the Department of Revenuet of all
I taxable property within the Village of Mount Prospectt Cook CountYt Illinoist
be levied for the fiscal year May It 1967 and ending April 30t 1968t for street
and bridge purposes; said tax to be in addition to a tax levy at the rate of
.06 percent of the full fair cash value of the property in said Village.
I SECTION 2. That said street and bridge tax be in addition to taxes
levied for the general corporate purposes.
SEcnOH 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
SECTION 4. That the Village Clerk shall file a certified copy of
this Ordinance with the County Clerk of Cook CountYt Illinois along with the
ltax levy ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect for the fiscal year
Icommencing May It 1967 and ending April 30t 1968.
