ORDINANCE NO. 2024
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING PERMIT FEES
REGARDING PUBLIC SWIMMING POOLS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS;
SECTION 1. That Section 19.507 entitled "Permits" of the
Municipal Code of the Village of Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended, is
hereby further amended by deleting the following sentence: "Fees: Fees
for permits shall be as determined by the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect.", and by adding to said Section 19.507 a new subparagraph
(c) so that said Section 19.507 (c) shall hereafter be and read as follows:
Section 19,507
(c) The permit fee shall be the sum of Thirty Dollars ($30.00)
per a six (6) month period commencing on April 1 and October 1
of each year. A valid permit must be in effect when pool is in
operation.
SECTION 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided
by law.
