ORDINANCE NO. 2029
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED APPROXIMATELY
160 FEET WEST OF ELMHURST ROAD IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF
DENPSTER STREET.
WHEREAS, a written petition under oath signed by the owner of
record of land hereinafter described has been filed with the Village Clerk
of the Village of Mount Prospect requesting that said land be annexed to
the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, all the electors residing within the said property to be
annexed have affixed their signature indicating their consent; and
WHEREAS, the said land is not within the corporate limits of any
municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect; and

Principal Meridian, described as follows: Beginning at a point '~
12 chains South of the Northeast corner of said Southeast quarter
of the Southeast quarter of said Section 14; thence West 11.5 chains; ~,
thence South 2.35 chains; thence West 8.50 chains to the West line I
of said Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter; thence South 5.65
.llchains to the Southwest corner of said Southeast quarter of the Southeast
quarter; thence East 20 chains to the Southeast corner of said
Section 14; thence North 8.0 chains to the place of beginning, (except
therefrom that part of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter
of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range II, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest
corner of said Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter; thence
North along the West line of said Southeast quarter of the Southeast
quarter, 385.20 feet; thence East 562.28 feet to a point 385.38 feet
North of the South line of said Section 14; thence South 385.38 feet
to a point in the South line of said Section 14, which is 562.0 feet
East of the Southwest corner of said Southeast quarter of the Southeast
quarter; thence West along the South line of said Section 14, to place
to beginning, and also except therefrom the East 210 feet thereof)
in Cook County, Illinois.
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect find and believe it to be in the best interests of the said
Village that said land and territory be annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COm~TY, ILLINOIS:
An accurate map of which territory is attached thereto and made a part
thereof by this reference be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village
of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION 2: The Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect is
hereby directed to file in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County,
IllinOis, a certified copy of this Ordinance together with an accurate map
of the territory annexed.

SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner
provided by law.

aforesaid, and as such Deputy Clerk I am the keeper of the records and files
of the Board of Trustees of said Village.
I do further certify that attached hereto is a full, true and correct
copy of ORDINANCE NO. 2029 - AN ORDINANCE ANNEXDiG CERrAIN PROPERTY LOCATED
APPROXIMATELY 160 FEET \oJEST OF ElMHURST ROAD IMMEDIATELY NOffi'H OF DEMPSTER
STREET, duly adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect,
Cook County, Illinois, at its legally convened meeting held on the 19th day of
September, 1967, at that at the time of adoption of said Ordinance No. 2029
