ORDINANCE NO. 2035
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1107 REGARDING SECTION 30 (E) OF THE
ZONING ORIDNANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT - BOARD OF APPEALS REGULAR
MEErING.
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect held
a PUblic Hearing on the 18th of August, 1967 at the hour of 8:00 P.M. in the
Village Hall, 112 East Northwest Highway, Mount Prospect, Illinois, with
reference to Case No. 67-20P; and
WHEREAS, such Public Hearing was held pursuant to proper legal
notice; and
WHEREAS, Case No. 67-20P was a request for an amendment to
Ordinance No. 1107 pertaining to Section 30 (E) "Meetings and Hearings" of
the Board of Appeals; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Cornmission recommended that the regular meeting
of the Board of Appeals shall be the fourth Thursday of each month; and
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Committee of the Board of Trustees did
review Case No. 67-20P and concurred in the recommendation of the Plan
Corrmission; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect deem it in the best interests that the reconmended change
regarding the regular meeting date of the Board of Appeals be allowed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VIILAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That Section 30 (E) of the Zoning Ordinance of the
Village of Mount Prospect entitled "Meetings and Hearings" paragraph 1 -
"Procedure" be amended by deleting the word "Friday" of the second line and
inserting therein the work "Thursday" so that the first sentence of Section
30 (E) of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect shall be and
read as follows:
Section 30 (E) Meetings and Hearings.
(1) Procedure. Regular meetings of the Board of Appeals shall be
held on the fourth Thursday of each month.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
fran and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided
by law.
