RESOLUTION NO. J Z -70
A RESOLUTION RELEASING A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
WHEREAS, on July 1, 1964, an easement for public utilities upon
certain land described in Exhibit I hereto was created for the
use of Utility Sewer and Water Company and its successors in
interest; and
WHEREAS, on October l8~ 1969, the Village of Mount Prospect did
purchase the said Utility Sewer and Water Company; and
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois has since acquired a portion of
real estate which is affected by this easement; and
WHEREASy the State is desirous of obtaining a release of said
easement in order to overcome certain objections for title
insurance covering the parcel of real estate described in
Exhibit I hereto; and
vmEREAS y the Village of Moun t Prospect and the State of Illinois
have an existing agreement whereby the Village has the authority
to utilize State-owned rights-of-way within the corporate limits
of the Village of Mount Prospect for Village-owned utilities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECTy ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the President of the Village of Mount Prospect
is hereby authorized to sign and the Clerk of the Village of
Mount Prospect is hereby authorized to attest the RELEASE OF
EASEMENT attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit I.
SECTION TWO: That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner pro-
vided by law.

That part of the West half of the Northwest quarter lying South of the centerline
of Algonquin Road, excepting the following described parcels:
The East 473. 11 feet thereof;
also
The South 1565.39 feet thereof;
also a parcel described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the West line of the East 473. 11 feet
of the West half of the Northwest quarter of said Section 23 with the
Southerly line of Algonquin Road; thence North 62043' 45" West along
the Southerly line of said road, 200 feet; thence South 27016' 15" West,
165. 16 feet to a point on the North line of the South 1565.39 feet of the
We5t half of the Northwest quarter of said Section 23; thence North
890 061 55" East along said Northline, 253.47 feet to a point on the
West line of the East 473. 11 feet of the West half of the Northwest
quarter of Section 23, as aforesaid; thence North 00 0' 30" East
along said West line, 51,25 feet to the place of beginning, in Cook
County, Illinois;
also a parcel described as follows:
Commencing at intersection of the West line of the Northwest quarter of
said Section 23 with centerline of Algonquin. Road; thence South along the
West line of said Northwest quarter, 257 feet; thence East at right
angles to the last described line, 156. 70 feet more or less to a point on
a line drawn at right angles to centerline of Algonquin Road through a
point 257 feet Southeasterly (as measured on said centerline) of place
of beginning; thence Northeasterly on last described line 156. 70 feet
more or less to centerline of Algonquin Road; thence Northwesterly along
centerline of Algonquin Road 257 feet to the place of beginning;
also that part lying in Busse Road;
all in Cook County, Illinois.
