WHEFEAS, ED/Ill"! HABERKAl'f[p has devoted many year-s of faithful and dedicated
service to the Village of I10unt Prospect: eight years as Village Trustee
0935-1943) II al1d as a fireman for thirty-six year-s-serv:L."1g first as a
volunteer from 1934 until 1956, next as Volunteer C'nief from 1956 until
1960, a"1d finally as Chief of the regular Department from its inception
in 1960 until his resi@1aticn August I, 1970; and
\oJHEREAS II ElJlJIN HABER'<AFIP has through these years devoted his tirre and
experience and knoil.;ledge into making Village government 8.'1d the Village
Fire Department efficient and coordinated; and
VJHEREAS, EDii1fIN HABEP,KAl'IIP has given vJhole-heartedly of his time and efforts
above and beyond the call of ordina.Y'Jt" services in the perforrrJ8J.'1ce of these
positions; and
v)}IEREAS J the residents of the Village of tlount Prospect are indebted to
EDt/IN W\.BERKAMP for his distinguished service to our Village; and
itfHEREAS /I the President 8.11d Board of Trustees of the Village of ~.10unt
Prospect desire to express to En,UN HlffiERKAl"lP 0:1 behalf of all the residents
of the Village their gratitude to him for his declicated and distinguished
service to the Village;

gratitude for his dedicated, faithful, and constr!J.ctive service to the
