RESOLUTION NO. 21-70
A PESOLUTION At.1THORIZING THE EXECUI'ION OF AGPEEl'/]mn'S WITH THE
MOUNT PROSPEGr RURAL FIRE PROTEGrION DISTP~CT AJ'JD THE ELK GROVE
RURAL FIRE PROTEGrION DISTRICT.
\iHEREAS, the Fire and Police Committee of the President and Board of
Trustees has revie"fllled contracts with the r'1ount Prospect and Elk Grove
Fire Protection Districts for the calendar year 1971; and
WHEREAS, the said Fire and Police Commitee has recommended to the
President and Board of 'I'rustees of the Village of Mount Prospect the
adoption of the said agreements; and
t.olHEREAS, the President and Board of 'Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect have ascertained that entry into these agreements is for the
best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect;
NOVl) THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PPESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOU.NT PROSPECT s COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SEGrION ONE: That the President of the Board of Trustees of the Village
of r'lount Prospect is hereby authorized to sign and the Village Clerk of
the Village of r'lount Prospect is hereby authorized to attest the two(2)
agreements for rural fire protection made a part hereof and attached
hereto as Exhibits A and B.
SECTION Tl~O: That said agreements shall be effective January 1:1 1971
and shall be binding upon the parties thereto and their successors
for a calendar year 1971.
SECTION THREE: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
