RESOLUTION NO. 6-71
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DISSOLUTION OF THE
WELLER CREEK ACTION COfv1]V!ISSION

vlliEPEAS, the Village of f1olli~t Prospect together with the Village of
Arlington Heights $ the Cities of Des Plaines and Rolling Meadows and
the Metropolita~ Sanitary District of Greater Chicago did, in April
1963~ organize the Weller Creek Action Commission; and
~\l.HEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect made contributions to the
operation of said Corrmission; and
1:IHEREAS, said Commission is no lon~r actively functioning; and
\','HEREJlB, there rerrai.'1s on deposit certain fu.nds II a portion of vlhich
belongs to the Village of ~ount Prospect; and
1:JHEEEAS:I di8s01 ving of said organization and the return of funds is
L~ the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect;
NOW, THEREOFRE, BE IT RESOLVIill BY THE PPiliSIDENT Al'1D BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE \TILLAGE OF f/DUNT PROSPECT:I COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the \~eller Creek Action Commission should be dissolved
and by this Resolution the Village of Mount Prospect hereby requests all
other members of said Commission to dissolve said organization and hereby
acknm'lledges that the Village I s share in the amount of $250.00 of funds
remai.~ing on hand recently has been returned heretofore and deposited
with the Village Treasurer.
SECTION 'TI"JO: That by this Resolution the Villap:e Board hereby requests
all other n:embers to join in the di8s01 vinp- of said COmJT1ission and
acknowledges the return of said funds from the TreasuY>\J of said Com-
mission forthwith.
SECTION THREE: That the Village Clerk is hereby d:Lrected to send a Cer-
tified copy of this Resolution to the goveming bod:Les of the Village of
Arlington Heights, City of Des Plaines~ City of Rolling f"1eadows, and
the f!Jetropolitan Sanitary District of Greater Chicago upon its passage.
SECTION FOUR: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from &'1d after its passage and approval in the manner prov:Lded by la~J.
